The
Bettacare gate is a versatile sturdy extra tall metal gate, suitable for
stairs and doorways from 75cm right up to 148cm wide. The design
incorporates a hinged opening gateway within its own framework, meaning
that unlike cheaper ones, there is no need to remove the whole unit from
the doorway each time you need to get past.
It's
extra height of 104cm makes it suitable for large dogs, small dogs and
toddlers alike and the double
locking handle mechanism prevents unwanted entry whilst still allowing
one handed operation. The locking handwheels
that secure the unit in position are Child-proof
(and pet proof!) and cannot be over tightened or work loose when in use.
Safety has been of prime concern during the design of this gate and it
features pinch free hinges and conforms fully to EN1930.2000 inc A12005
BSI standards. Gate
with Cat Flap - The gate is also available with a built-in lockable cat flap enabling
the cat to escape outside for a pee if need be! However,
please note that small/medium dogs and small children will also fit
through the cat flap. For this reason it is not
suitable or BSI approved for use as a child gate, nor is it suitable for
containing all sizes of dog. Please refer to the dimensions
listed below to be sure of it's suitability prior to ordering. Fits
Wide Openings - Extensions and 'Y'
spindles (for fitting to rounded
stair posts) are also available to
enable this gate to suit almost any application. This
versatile gate is well designed, robust and represents excellent value for
money.
NB. Some doorways are narrower than 75cm,
please double check your measurements to ensure it will fit before
ordering.
